Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned cream puff connoisseur, the 2025 Fair (running July 31–August 10 in West Allis) is rolling out a buffet of wild creations, nostalgic favorites, and deep-fried brilliance you won’t want to miss.

🥄 The Sporkies: 8 Must-Try Finalists

The Sporkies are the fair’s annual showdown of over-the-top food creations. You’ll find the finalists marked with giant golden spork statues across the grounds. Here’s who made the cut in 2025:

1. A Hunk A Hunk Elvis Donut Ice Cream Sandwich – Badger Bites
   A grilled glazed donut stuffed with banana-peanut butter ripple-chocolate ice cream, topped with bacon and powdered sugar. It’s chaos. It’s glory. It’s dessert perfection.

2. Blueberry Breakfast Bratwurst – Milwaukee Brat House
   A brat infused with blueberries, tucked in a pancake bun, finished with bourbon bacon jam. Brunch just found its new mascot.

3. Brat Rangoon – WürstBar
   Deep-fried wonton filled with bratwurst, cream cheese, green onion, and topped with sweet-sour sauce and furikake. It’s everything you didn’t know you needed.

4. Gochujang Smashburger with Kimchi Bacon Jam – Blue Moon Tavern at the Park
   Two patties layered with smoked gouda, cucumber, gochujang aioli, and kimchi bacon jam on a brioche bun. Bring a napkin (or three).

5. Mexican Street Corn Pizza – Charlie’s Pizza
   A pizza topped with corn, mozzarella, cotija, spicy mayo, and lime. It’s a flavor fiesta on a slice.

6. Pretzaroni Pizza Brat – Gertrude’s Pretzels
   A garlic parmesan brat wrapped in pretzel dough with melted pepperoni and cheese, served with marinara. It's a whole meal you can hold in one hand.

7. S’mores Churro Fries – Saz’s BBQ
   Cinnamon-sugar churro fries topped with marshmallow crème, chocolate drizzle, and graham crackers. Childhood memories, upgraded.

8. Ube Butter Banana French Toast Lumpia – Lumpia City
   A sweet lumpia filled with banana and French toast, deep-fried and served with vibrant ube butter. Unexpected and unmissable.

🍽️ What’s New on the Menu?

This year features nearly 100 new food and drink items—many of which sound more like foodie dares than traditional fair fare (and that’s exactly how we like it). Some of our must-tries:

• A Hunk A Hunk Fat Elvis Donut Ice Cream Sandwich – Yes, it’s real. A donut loaded with banana ice cream, peanut butter ripple, bacon, and chocolate.

• Alligator Cajun Mac & Cheese Sundae – Creamy, spicy, and packed with flavor (and gator).

• Pickle Quesadilla with Pickle Sour Cream & Glitter “Glickles” – For those who love a tangy surprise with some sparkle.

• Crab Rangoon Tacos – The mashup we didn’t know we needed.

• S’mores Churro Fries – A sweet, crunchy twist from Saz’s.

• Cookie Butter Crunch Mini Donuts – Just go ahead and order the bucket.

• Vegan Shrimp Egg Rolls – For plant-based foodies who still want flavor fireworks.

🍹 The Drinkies: Must Try Drinks

This non-alcoholic beverage contest is every bit as wild as the food. Look for giant golden drink cup statues to locate these creative concoctions:

1. Carnival Cooler – Tropics
   Watermelon + pickle juice + lemonade, with lime, Tajín, and hot honey. Sweet, spicy, salty—just like Wisconsin summers.

2. Dirty Pancakes – Buzzy Badger
   Root beer with vanilla creamer, maple syrup, brown sugar popping boba, whipped cream, and mini pancakes on the straw. Yes, the straw.

3. Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Smoothie – Caribbean Smoothies
   Strawberry smoothie blended with pistachio butter, layered with chocolate drizzle, and topped with crispy shredded kataifi.

4. Purple Rain Refresher – Rock & Roll Beer Garden
   Concord grape juice + lemonade + grapefruit soda + edible glitter + pop rocks = a sparkling, color-changing party in a cup.

🍽️ Beyond the Sporkies: Wild & Wonderful Fair Fare

In addition to the finalists, a few honorable mentions include:

• Glitter Glickles – Pickles coated in edible glitter, because pickles should sparkle.

• Alligator Cajun Mac & Cheese Sundae – Smoky gator meat, creamy mac, and a waffle cone. Wild in every way.

• Banana Cream Pie Slush – A frozen twist on a pie classic.

• Caramel Apple Waffle-on-a-Stick – Apples, caramel, waffle, no fork required.

• Cranberry Cannoli, Cookie Butter Mini Donuts, Spicy Bang Bang Chicken Tots—the hits keep coming.

And yes, 16 new vendors are debuting this year, bringing even more variety for adventurous eaters and picky snackers alike.
